Rene Pollesch – Der perfekte Tag. Ruhrtrilogie Teil 3
The evening begins with a promise: “This will be a perfect day.” This perfect day has been assigned the number 101 on the list of the most important inventions of humanity, which Fabian Hinrichs slaves away at in the third part of René Pollesch’s Ruhr Trilogy. The path to happiness is an invention. Hinrichs, the (dis)illusionist artist, cycles and horseback rides his way through a circus evening, celebrates Pollesch’s words and above all makes great theatre. But will he fulfil his promise? He answers this question in the course of the evening: “Only lies can be perfect."
