Doris Uhlich - SPITZE
Classical ballet is a form of art determined by hierarchy, rules, and strict patterns of movement. What would happen if you were to destroy these pillars? When an aged former prim ballerina dances, a pas de deux turns into a solo, and movements become deconstructed.
In “SPITZE” Doris Uhlich challenges the conflicts of body images, the illusions of ballet, and the people behind it.
