Beatrice Fleischlin - MY TEN FAVORITE WAYS TO UNDRESS /

A PERSONAL HITLIST
There are countless ways to do it. Most people just do it, others do it for money – undress themselves. Beatrice Fleischlin endeavours the action of “undressing oneself”. An action she disavows a sales strategy of the body or which emphasises the intimacy of undressing.
Beatrice Fleischlin presents her personal interpretation like a hit list.

About Beatrice Fleischlin
Born and raised on a Swiss farm, Beatrice Fleischlin was first trained as a florist. The first time she came into contact with the theatre was at the vocational school. This was followed by projects in the independent theatrical scene in Lucerne and studies at the Theaterhochschule Zürich. Ever since, she has been working as an independent actress. Her projects have included “7 ½ Untersuchungen über das Unfertige” (with the group GASTSTUBE) and “ÖNGEL” (with the duo fleischlin/galeazzi). With “my ten favourite ways to undress,” Beatrice Fleischlin won the Jury prize at the Festival 100° in the Berliner Sophiensaelen in 2009. That same year, she also was awarded a dance scholarship from the Berliner senate for the development of her performative research “paradise is a sharp bend...”..
