Impulse ACTUALLY wanted to celebrate its 30th birthday this year. We ACTUALLY wanted to raise a glass with our guests, dance and indulge in some shared memories. But that’s not going to happen. The party in Cologne has become another victim of Covid-19 and that’s why we’re not going to celebrate something else: everything that’s not happening this year. Let’s make the best of it! Our hosts are the duo Thomas Bartling and David Kilinç aka Çakey Blond, who were ACTUALLY going to host the after show party on our opening night but have now been promoted to become the main act. In the nowhere of the  world wide web they will welcome Impulse artists whose contributions to the festival programme could not be adapted into online versions. There are many reasons for this and they will let us know some of them. Not hiding their mouths with the backs of their hands, but on a massive zoom stage or in exclusive booths. A party under special circumstances to show what can’t be shown. Actually impossible.
