Coinciding with the 1st anniversary of the funding of Silent University Ruhr a first comprehensive publication on The Silent University will be published. It gathers essays and interviews on the lost knowledge of refugees, on critical or radical approaches towards pedagogy and reports from the currently existing Silent Universities in Amman, Athens, Hamburg, London, Mülheim/Ruhr, and Stockholm. In a public talk, and for the purposes of presenting the book, protagonists of the different branches discuss their respective situations, their successes and setbacks in establishing the Silent University.
