The economic crisis led to shutdowns of factories and thousands of newly unemployed. “Occupy, Resist, Produce” allows for insight into three very different cases in Milan, Rome and Thessaloniki where workers managed to seize control over shut down factories. The videos of Dario Azzellini and Oliver Ressler also show factory occupations as sincere performances of experimental direct democracy and collective decision making.
